About Us
Love & light South Africa™ is a collection of natural, artisanal, vegan and cruelty-free soy wax candles inspired by nature and mindfulness. Each bespoke candle is proudly South African and hand-crafted with the finest ingredients and materials in small batches. Founded in 2023 by a South African woman in the public healthcare profession, with a purpose of doing more by starting a "side hustle"/small business and combining all that she's learnt to create a product which emphasises self-love, empowerment, mindfulness, holistic health and wellness.
Living in South Africa and experiencing a pandemic, has forced us as people to become more resilient and find ourselves living a highly stressful life. Our candles have the intention of reminding us to take some time out of our busy lives to pause, light a candle, enjoy the serene scent, remember our purpose and seize that moment. The concept of using affirmations on the candles serve as daily reminders and encourage an optimistic mindset.
